Let’s continue the description of the second part of creating a design, and what rules you need to follow in order to achieve a high result.

1. Learn to be a master storyteller

In work, both creating a design and solving a problem for a project is important, but another component is the history of this project.

It is very important to learn how to convey your idea and its solution through history. Reinforce ideas both verbally and visually. You need to be able to create and come up with unique ideas and convey them through design to your users. Details are important and necessary in design, but people always remember history.

2. Simplify as much as possible

Simplicity is an important guiding tool. Simplicity is the absence of excess in design. This means getting rid of design elements and information that is not essential. Simplicity is used in different tools such as hierarchy, unity, balance, colour, fonts, composition and more.

3. Be curious

Designers with experience have learned to observe and notice things that a beginner does not see. They see the big picture of a design, and they also notice small details. Design is a process that involves the human brain completely. The designer needs to develop creativity, practicality, rationality, analyticity, receptivity and passion for his work.

4. Be able to come up with and choose the best ideas

We always use different tools in our work with which we come up with ideas. It is very important to come up with ideas in simple techniques such as paper and pencil or marker and board. All ideas are born first in our head, then transferred to paper, and then digitized.
