Landing Page Trends and Ideas for 2023

If you want to stand out from the competition and don’t want your brand – and your conversion rates – to fall behind. To do both, you need to constantly test your landing pages to make sure you’re engaging with your audience and encouraging conversions.

If you decide to try out any of these ideas, be sure to stick to landing page guidelines such as matching their respective ads, optimizing for mobile, having a thank you page, and more.

1. Interactive interface
I didn’t tidy up this list or rank these trends, but this is the first landing page trend: interactive landing pages for a custom interface. Interactive content is a great way to increase engagement and time on page, which has a positive effect on your landing page performance.

More importantly, though, giving your landing page visitors the opportunity to customize their experience with your brand in a fun and engaging way is good for building customer relationships. This is because people want personalized content.

2. Modern website design
Most of the one-page website trends are design oriented. It makes sense – the design of a landing page is usually the first thing a visitor notices, and it’s usually the first thing that starts to look dated.

A great way to drive conversions is with your landing page. Try to keep the design of your site always in trend to be different from competitors and stand out from others, and increase your profits.

3. Video for the site
Explainer videos are short clips, often with product descriptions and voice-overs, that introduces the user to your company’s product or service.

Including a video is great for increasing conversions on your landing page. Explainer videos seem to work even better. According to HubSpot, 94% of people report watching explainer videos to learn more about a product, and 84% report being influenced by making a purchase.

4. Customer feedback
If you are in business now, you know that your online reviews are very important. Whether it’s social media advertising, a Google My Business review, an unwanted positive review of your products or services is valuable social proof. This lets you know what your current customers like and what’s more, gives your potential customers a personalized recommendation. And we all trust personalized recommendations more than even the best copy or images.

That’s why it’s not surprising that one of the landing page trends this year is to use customer reviews so that any visitor will immediately see them. Chameleon does this really well – check out the header view here.

5. Email-Only Forms
No one wants to fill out multiple fields to sign up for a newsletter or start a free trial.

If you want to increase your landing page conversion rate, you should also try this landing page trend. The study found that most landing pages only use one field, and what’s more, conversion rates plummet after three fields.

6. Use of animation on the site
Videos and interactive content can make your one page site more appealing to your audience – and we already know we’ll see more of this in landing page design next year. Another landing page trend we’ll see is in-site animations.

7. Download speed
Google made core web metrics a search ranking factor earlier this year, and another update is expected in early 2023. This means fast loading times are more important than ever. The first step is to make sure your images are compressed and your page has lazy loading enabled.

8. Trending colors for 2023
Pantone has published its predictions for 2023: warm, familiar, soothing colors. Top of the list for next spring? Coral. This will also be a landing page trend.

This color fits in with some of the larger themes we’ve seen here – dreamy, accessible, playful, and simple. The color is warm and light, making it perfect for backgrounds or accents on your page.
