About Company

Say Hi is a modern online magazine about creativity, for creative people.

The published materials contain information about all kinds of arts: lectures, master classes, tips on productivity and organization of the creative process.

The main goal of the project

Our goal was to rebrand the portal, refresh its design, give it a new vision, turn it into a modern, functional and pleasant information resource for every reader.

Task

The main task was to update the site, while leaving its main purpose - the exchange of creative thoughts according to the scheme from the author to the reader. The main character of this story was to act information, that is, publications. At the same time, it was necessary to correctly place the emphasis on different headings. Each of them would be of interest to visitors and increase the number of articles viewed.

ANALYTICS

PREPARATORY WORK

The first step in creating a website is analytics and market research. We studied the sites of competitors on this topic, thought out the structure of the pages and the logic of the transitions between them.

For this, prototypes were developed that helped to interact with the future site and visually, in a simplified form, showed how the site will look in the future.

MAIN PAGE

DESIGN OF THE MAIN PAGE

The main page of the portal is the face of the site and the most interesting news on it. The design of the main was developed with the maximum pro-work of details, so that no actual news was lost sight of.

ANIMATION

CREATING OF INTERACTIVE

For this site, a simple and understandable animation was made. In the site header, this is an effect when you hover over menu items. When hovering in the photo, they gradually increase, and also the blocks themselves have the effect of a smooth appearance from the void, which adds interactivity and liveliness to the site.

Internal pages have a diverse structure. From the home page, the user enters the catalog page, and from the catalog to the article page. Also there are unique pages that differ in structure from the others. We did not forget about the non-standard design of the page "404".

We wanted to create the most comfortable adaptive design for Say Hi. With the help of readable text, convenient scrolling, optimized images and video, as well as effects, you can enjoy the portal from any device.

References to the main headings were made in the site's header. On the page of each category there are previews of articles that can be sorted using the filters "popular" and "last".
